Learning First is a registered charity providing quality education and training to learners in the North East and Cumbria. We work with learners in their own communities and at our base at Chevyside in Newcastle.

Our aim is to provide activities for those who have had the least access to education and training so that we can help them in the move towards becoming active citizens in their communities both socially and economically.

To do this we focus on the following areas of work:

  Routes to Employability.

  Work with adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

  Widening the participation of young adults.

  Skills for Life.

 Skills for Work.

  Family Learning.
